When Bob Dylan heads to Sweden with his band for three shows in April, it’s possible the Nobel laureate will also be delivering his required Nobel lecture.

While Dylan was officially awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature earlier this month in a ceremony he did not attend, he is required to give a lecture in his field of expertise within six months in order to received the $ 870,000 prize that comes with the award. It is not required that the lecture take place in Sweden although it would certainly make sense for Dylan to check it off his to-do list between shows on his European tour. However, no announcement has been made as to when the lecture will take place.
