A trailer for the new HBO docu-series The Defiant Ones, posted on Facebook, features Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks, among others.

The 4-part HBO series, which follows the stories of Interscope Records found Jimmy Iovine and legendary rapper and producer Dr. Dre, features interview with the men themselves and the artists they influenced.

Jimmy Iovine started out in the record business in the early 70s, working as a recording engineer for John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen and others. He worked on Springsteen’s Born to Run album, teamed up with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on Damn the Torpedoes and with U2 on Rattle and Hum. In 1990 he co-founded Interscope Records (which later became Interscope Geffen A&M) and in 2008 he teamed up up with Dr. Dre to co-found Beats By Dr. Dre, the headphones brand acquired by Apple Inc. in 2014.
