In a new video posted to Bryan Adams‘ official YouTube page, the Canadian rocker talks about his new single, “Brand New Day.”

If the song sounds familiar, there’s a reason.

“It harks back in terms of energy to songs that I’ve written before,” Adams explains in the video.

Adams is calling Get Up! the best record he’s made, next to Reckless, which featured the 1984 smash hit “Summer of ’69.”
