Cheap Trick will release a Christmas album this fall, according to bassist Tom Petersson in a new interview with orangeamps.com.

The album, due out around Halloween, will feature covers as well as some originals.

According to Petersson the album was finished about two months ago and “came out great.”

Cheap Trick recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of their first album. The band has 18 studio albums including We’re All Alright!, released in June of this year. They are currently touring North America in support of the album. Click here for a full list of dates.
