Dave Grohl Debuts Sound City Players at Sundance Festival [VIDEO]

Dave Grohl debuted his Sound City Players at this past weekend’s Sundance Film Festival, bringing out 17 guest artists for 3 hours of music. The all-star band included John Fogerty, Stevie Nicks, Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), Rick Springfield, Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine), Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Lee Ving (Fear), and Corey Taylor (Slipknot).

The artists were backed by Foo Fighters and performed up to seven songs from their own catalogs as well as songs recorded for Grohl’s Sound City film, which premiered at the festival on Friday night.
