The name is legendary, the music both majestic and timeless. With worldwide album sales exceeding seventy million, over thirty years on the road, and an impressive run of fourteen Top 20 hits, Foreigner's music resonates across generations.

More current and vibrant than ever in a career that continues to bring acclaim and applause from critics and fans worldwide, Foreigner is one of the most noteworthy rock bands on the planet.

2010 promises to be another year of achievement for the band, as they perform to enthusiastic, sold-out crowds worldwide.

Commencing in mid-May, Foreigner will co-headline the ultimate classic rock tour of the summer. United In Rock is a sure-to-be-entertaining jaunt that will feature Foreigner's hits and showcase new songs from the bandís first album of new material in more than 15 years. CAN'T SLOW DOWN is a three-disc masterpiece that includes 13 new songs, ten remixed versions of Foreigner classics that bring new energy to classic hits like "Urgent," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Juke Box Hero" and "Feels Like The First Time", and a live DVD filmed during last yearís European tour. Released on Rhino Records in Fall 2009 and sold exclusively via Wal-mart, the album is garnering rave reviews.

Entering the Billboard Top 30 in October of 2009, it is the first full-length album to feature Foreignerís revamped lineup: Mick Jones, the band's founder and legendary songwriter/guitarist, singer Kelly Hansen, bassist Jeff Pilson, guitarist Tom Gimbel, keyboardist Michael Bluestein, and drummer Brian Tichy. Jones produced the new album with Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith and Buckcherry).

According to the multi-talented Jones, CANíT SLOW DOWN is about fresh starts. "For the band, it was a chance to step out from the shadow of the past and establish its own identity. Personally, the album helped me reclaim my confidence as an artist and rediscover the fun of making music again."

Singer Kelly Hansen says the new music was written and recorded on rare days off during a hectic concert schedule. "Being on the road kept us out of the studio longer than we'd planned, but that's a good problem to have. Eventually, we realized there never would be a perfect time to make the album, so we committed to making it happen. Nothing like a little deadline pressure to keep you focused."

A powerful mix of rock and impeccably crafted pop, CANíT SLOW DOWN includes the first single, "When It Comes To Love" (which has seen significant action on radio charts); the current single, "In Pieces," which entered the Top 30 radio chart in April, and the rocking title track, written by Jones, Hansen and Frederiksen as a tribute to NASCAR (a successful collaboration with the sport began in 2009 when the band performed before 150,000 fans in Dallas. More NASCAR appearances are soon to be announced)

Among the album's 13 songs is "Too Late," which was recorded by the band in 2009 for the greatest hits anthology No End In Sight. Also featured is Grammyģ-winning producer Mark Ronsonís horn-driven remake of "Fool For You Anyway" from Foreignerís 1977 debut.

The final disc is a DVD that captures the band performing many of its hits live and in 5.1 surround sound, plus a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of CANíT SLOW DOWN.

The band also continues to expand its multi-generational audience via music placements in high profile video games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band ("Juke Box Hero" is featured prominently in both) and a slew of recent national television appearances including Lopez Tonight, Ellen and The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. "We've definitely noticed a lot of younger fans showing up to our shows," says Hansen. "It's gratifying to see that the music is touching such a diverse group of people on so many levels."
