The 28th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in Los Angeles tonight. Heart and Rush are both scheduled to perform during the ceremony and will be inducted into the Hall. Heart’s Ann Wilson told KJR Seattle this week that the band’s original lineup – Ann and Nancy Wilson, Howard Leese, Roger Fisher, Steve Fossen, and Mike Derosier – will reunite tonight to perform the band’s first single, “Crazy On You.”
Other performances will include Jackson Browne and John Fogerty performing for inductee Randy Newman, and Carole King performing for Lou Adler, among others. 1998 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Don Henley will induct Randy Newman and Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkings of the Foo Fighters will present Rush.
The Rock an Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will air on HBO on Saturday, May 18 at 9 pm ET/PT.
