beatles-HelpUSalbumcoverThe jackets worn by George Harrison and Ringo Star during the Beatles’ 1965 film Help! will be going up for auction, reports the BBC.

The jackets, which the Beatles also wore in the cover photo for the film’s soundtrack, are part of film director Richard Lester’s private collection.

The jackets are expected to fetch $82,000 to $115,000.

“As Beatles clothing goes, these have got to be amongst the Holy Grail for any Beatles collector,” said Omega Auctions’ Paul Fairweather.

The auction is set for March 20th at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool. Some 200 other pieces of Beatles memorabilia will also be auctioned off.
