Mick Jagger has teamed up with Martin Scorsese and Terence Winter to develop a rock themed dramatic series for HBO. The as-yet untitled project is said to shoot in 2014, with Scorsese directing the pilot, which was written by Winter. The two previously worked together on the pilot for Boardwalk Empire, and are said to be recruiting actor Bobby Cannavale for their new project.
The new series will focus on the exploits of a cocaine-fueled record exec in 1977.
Jagger is one of the executive producers for the show, and reportedly came up with the idea that sparked the development of the show. Jagger and Scorsese previously worked together on The Rolling Stones documentary Shine A Light.
