Earlier this month Eagle Rock Entertainment announced that they would be releasing a tribute version of Deep Purple’s Machine Head on September 25th to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the landmark album. Re-machined: A Tribute To Deep Purple’s Machine Head features a wide array of performers, including Metallica, Chicken Foot, Joe Elliott, Joe Bonamassa and Carlos Santana, covering their favorite tracks from Purple’s classic 1972 album.
