Springsteen and More to Join Stones for 50th Anniversary Show in NJ

The Rolling Stones have announced a number of special guests to perform during their 50th Anniversary concert in Newark, NJ on Saturday.  Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen will join the Stones on stage along with Lady Gaga and The Black Keys.

“We’re excited these extraordinary artists, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and The Black Keys, have agreed to help celebrate our 50th Anniversary as we share the night live with our fans all over the world,” a statement from the band reads. “Now the fun begins of trying to figure out the best songs to perform together.”

This past Saturday, the legendary band played the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, performing a 23 song set that featured performances by Mary J. Blige on “Gimme Shelter” and Gary Clark Jr. on “Goin’ Down”.

The Newark, NJ show will be broadcast live via Pay Per View this coming Saturday.

The Rolling Stones have also announced that they will be part of the 12-12-12 Sandy Benefit Concert this Wednesday.
