Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi & More Team Up for Charity Single

Paul McCartney and Jon Bon Jovi are just two of the artists who have teamed up to record a charity single in support of efforts on climate change.

“Love Song to the Earth,” which also features Sheryl Crow, Colbie Caillat, Nathasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, Fergie and Sean Paul, has been released as part of a global campaign to raise awareness in advance of the United Nations’ Climate Change Conference in December. The release of the single supports the UN’s call for a meaningful, universal climate change agreement at the  conference.

According to the song’s website, each time the song is purchased, streamed, or shared, the royalties will go directly towards the efforts of Friends of the Earth to keep fossil fuels in the ground and lower carbon emissions, and to the work of the U.N. Foundation to inspire international action on climate change.

A petition to world leaders, which urges them to stop debating climate change and start taking action, can be signed at lovesongtotheearth.org.

Hear “Love Song to the Earth” on Apple Music below or purchase it on iTunes.
