On September 23rd, David Bowie Is will play in selected theaters across the U.S. The documentary coincides with the opening of an exhibit by the same name at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art.

The art exhibit, which originated in London, features costumes, photos, handwritten lyrics, album artwork and other artifacts from Bowie’s career. The documentary was filmed the last night of the exhibit’s London run.
