Official Contest Rules
The following rules and conditions apply to the sweepstakes “Enter for your chance to win a digital download of The Doobie Brothers 4-song EP” (the “Contest”) sponsored by Classics Du Jour (the “Contest Sponsor”) on www.classicsdujour.com (the “Website”).
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Purchase does not increase chances of winning.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States, District of Columbia, and Canada, excluding the province of Quebec, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Contest Sponsor or any advertising and promotional agencies (“Contest Entities”) and their respective employees, associates, affiliates, and such individuals’ immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this Contest.
This Contest is void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
The Contest begins at 12:00 am ET on September 10, 2021 (“Contest Opening Date”) and closes at 11:59 pm ET on September 30, 2021(“Contest Closing Date”). Entries must be received and recorded during the Promotion Period.
PRIZE AND ODDS OF WINNING:
Ten (10) winners will receive a digital download of The Doobie Brothers EP. The approximate retail value of the prize is $5.16 USD. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The winner(s) shall not be entitled to receive the difference between the actual prize value and the approximate prize value. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded. If a winner cannot accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected in a random drawing. If a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited. The prize is not transferable. Only one prize per household is permitted.
To enter the Contest, complete the entry form on our Contest page at www.classicsdujour.com during the Promotion Period. Only one entry per email address will be considered for Contest entry. The entry form will require a unique email address for each entry. All entries shall become the property of the Contest Sponsor.
Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries to be conducted within approximately one week from the Contest Closing Date. Winner(s) name(s) will be published on the Website within approximately one week from the Contest Closing Date. Winners who reside in Canada will be required to complete a skill-testing question.
Failure to comply with the Contest rules will result in the entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Contest Sponsor. The Contest Sponsor will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements and will erase any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, incomplete, late or delayed entries.
Depending on the value of the prize, a winner may be required to provide information for tax purposes or sign an affidavit in order to redeem the prize. Failure to provide truthful and accurate information will result in the winner forfeiting the prize. A winner may choose to forfeit the prize if they wish not to provide such information.
The Contest Sponsor retains the right, in its sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever, or in the event that the prize or a component of the prize becomes damaged or cannot be fulfilled for any reason whatsoever.
Payment of all federal, state/provincial and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner(s).
Classics Du Jour may contact winners via email or regular mail to confirm the correct mailing address for any prize prior to shipping the prize. Failure to respond with confirmation of a correct mailing address within a 10-day period from initial correspondence will result in the winner forfeiting the prize.
By entering the contest, the entrant authorizes the use, without additional compensation, notice or approval, of his or her first and last name, city, and state/province/territory of residence for promotional use on the Contest Sponsor’s Website and it’s affiliated pages or social media profiles when the entrant is selected as a Contest winner.
The Contest Sponsor, Contest Entities, and any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, licensees, subsidiaries, and affiliates are not liable for any and all loss, damages, or injuries of any kind, either to person or property, resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize(s) or participation in the Contest.
By entering the contest, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and to irrevocably release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor and Contest Entities, and any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, licensees, subsidiaries, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of or in connection to the entrant’s participation in the Contest, inability to participate in the Contest, or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize(s).
Personally identifying information will be used to contact entrants for marketing purposes only when the entrant opts in to receive marketing emails from Classics Du Jour and/or the Contest Entities.
Personally identifying information will be shared with Contest Entities only when an entrant opts in to receive marketing emails from the Contest Entity or in the case that sharing such information with a Contest Entity is required in order to complete prize fulfilment.
