In addition to being the longtime personal assistant to Bruce Springsteen, Obie Dziedzic can also claim to be The Boss’ first and biggest fan. And that’s not a stretch – Springsteen himself has called her that and, afterall, she’s been hanging around with the members of the E Street Band since they were teenagers.

Now, Dziedzic – known best as “Obie D” – will pen a memoir about her years with Springsteen as a fan, friend, confidante, house keeper, cook and personal assistant.

According to the Asbury Park Press, Dziedzic has Springsteen’s blessing to write the memoir, which will include anecdotes and even recipes. Robert Santelli, Executive Director of the Grammy Museum, will reportedly help write the book, although it does not yet have a publisher.
