ELO Pays Tribute to Chuck Berry at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

When Electric Light Orchestra was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Friday night they took the opportunity to pay tribute to the late, great Chuck Berry during their performance with an ELO-esque rendition of “Roll Over Beethoven.”

Chuck Berry, widely considered the grandfather of rock and roll, died March 18th at the age of 90.

“The King of Rock and Roll,” Jeff Lynne proclaimed at the end of the tune, before heading into the band’s classic hit, “Evil Woman.”

ELO was inducted into the Hall of Fame by Dhani Harrison, son of the late Beatle and Jeff Lynne’s Traveling Wilbury’s bandmate George Harrison.
