Queen + Adam Lambert will take their tour down under this summer, it was announced Wednesday. The tour marks Queen’s first return to Australia since 1985.

“Since I have started promoting and producing concert tours, one of my biggest dreams has been to bring Queen back to Australia and now this dream is a reality,” said concert promoter Paul Dainty.  Adding that this tour “may be the last chance Australian fans have to see one of the greatest rock bands in history.”

“Let’s ROCK those beautiful arenas just ONE MORE TIME!” said Brian May in a statement announcing the tour.

Queen + Adam Lambert will perform in Australia’s four biggest cities at the end of August and beginning of September. General public ticket sales begin May 28th at 10 am.

The Australian tour follows a North American tour that will wrap up July 28th in Toronto, ON.

Aug. 22 – Perth – Perth Arena
Aug. 26 – Sydney – Allphones Arena
Aug. 29 – Melbourne – Rod Laver Arena
Sept. 1 – Brisbane – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
