In February 2017, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Journey recreated two legendary albums during a performance at the famed Budokan arena in Tokyo, Japan. Now the concert film from that historic show will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, DVD+CD, Blu-ray+CD and in digital formats.

Journey Live in Japan features the band performing their 1981 album Escape in it’s entirety (opening with the iconic hit “Don’t Stop Believin”), and then nearly of all the songs from 1983’s Frontiers album. A blistering encore ended with an extended rendition of the 1979 hit “Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’.”

Escape was Journey’s 7th studio album and the band’s most commercially successful. It was certified 9x Platinum and sold over 12 million copies worldwide. It featured their massive hit “Don’t Stop Believin'” as well as “Who’s Crying Now” and “Open Arms”.

Frontiers followed Escape as the band’s 8th studio album. Released in 1983, it reached #2 on the Billboard 200 and featured four top 40 singles including “Faithfully” and “Separate Ways (World’s Apart)”.

Journey Live in Japan: Escape + Frontiers will be released March 29th and is available for pre-order now.
