The members of Kiss made an unannounced appearance in Milan this weekend, reports Yahoo, walking the runway for designer John Varvatos’ rock-inspired winter preview on Saturday night.

Varvato’s designs have that “rock persona,” Gene Simmons explained. “If he wasn’t designing clothes, he’d have a guitar around his neck.”

The band met the designer during last year’s Milan Fashion Week when they were performing in the city. They have since signed on to do an ad campaign for Varvatos.

Kiss is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the release of their first album and will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.
