Paul McCartney Postpones US Tour Dates

Paul McCartney is rescheduling seven US tour dates in order to recover from the virus that forced him to cancel his Out There Japan dates last month. The ex-Beatle was hospitalized for the virus in May but was quickly released and ordered to rest.

“I’m sorry but it’s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again,” reads a statement on McCartney’s website. “I’m feeling great but taking my docs’ advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon.”

While McCartney’s US tour was scheduled to kick off Saturday, it will now start July 5th in Albany, NY with shows in Lubbock, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Jacksonville and Nashville being rescheduled for October.

Tickets for the rescheduled shows will be honored on the new dates in October.

August 14: San Francisco, CA – Candlestick Park
