After almost five years on the market, Billy Joel has finally sold his residence in the Hamptons for just under $19.95M, the New York Post reports.
The ocean-front home is located in Sagaponack, New York and was purchased by Joel in 2007 from the previous owner, the late Roy Scheider, of Jaws.
The mansion is 5,500 sq ft and features four bedrooms, four and a half baths, a butler’s pantry and gourmet kitchen. The kitchen was designed by celebrity designer Nate Berkus and built specifically for Katie Lee, Billy Joel’s now ex-wife.
But the Piano Man isn’t moving out of the Hamptons entirely; he also has a home in Sag Harbor.
