Stevie Nicks will release a new solo album, 24 Karat – Songs From The Vault, on October 7th. Although most of the songs on the album were written between 1969 and 1987, they were only recently recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles.
“Most of these songs were written between 1969 and 1987. One was written in 1994 and one in 1995,” Nicks said in a statement.
“I included them because they seemed to belong to this special group. Each song is a lifetime. Each song has a soul. Each song has a purpose. Each song is a love story. They represent my life behind the scenes, the secrets, the broken hearts, the broken-hearted and the survivors.”
In addition to the album, a deluxe edition features never-before seen polaroids taken by Stevie herself, throughout her career. The photobook is comprised of 48 pages of new and old pictures.
