Billy Idol, Joan Jett and Foreigner’s Mick Jones will perform as part of the MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concert in New York on May 28th, it has been announced.
The Who’s Pete Townshend will be honored at the event with the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his support of the MusiCares MAP Fund and recovery programs. Bruce Springsteen will present the award to Townshend.
The Who manager, Bill Curbishley, will also be honored at the event with the From the Heart Award.
