When U2 played Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Monday night as part of their Innocence + Experience tour, the audience was seeing double.
Local Toronto U2 tribute act Acrobat joined Bono and crew on stage to perform the band’s 1988 hit “Desire.” Check out the fan-filmed video below.
“I’ve always wanted to meet you. Love your early work,” Bono told the tribute act’s frontman as the two bands shook hands at the end of the song.
U2’s Innocence + Experience tour continues across North America through July 31st before the band heads to Europe through mid-November.
