It took less than a week for a video of 1000 Italian musicians and singers performing the Foo Fighters‘ ‘Learn To Fly’ in unison to go viral.  In fact, it’s already racked up over 17M views in just 5 days.

The video, filmed in Cesena, Italy, served its purpose – to get the Foo Fighters to come perform in the Italian city of less than 100,000 people. Front man Dave Grohl responded personally via video just a day later, promising residents of Cesena they Foo Fighters would be coming.
