The Foo Fighters’ critically acclaimed HBO documentary series, Sonic Highways, took home two awards Saturday night at the 67th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
The series received the honors for Outstanding Sound Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Single or Multi-Camera) and Outstanding Sound Mixing for Nonfiction Programming (Single or Multi-Camera).
In a recent interview, Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl confirmed that there will be another season of the show, although further details have yet to be revealed.
The first season of the series saw the band travel to iconic recording studios in eight different American cities to explore the history of the studio and of the local music scene. It resulted in the Foo Fighters album of the same name.
