Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and founding member of ZZ Top Billy Gibbons has released a new single from his forthcoming solo album. Although the single is not yet available to buy or stream online, you can request it now at your local radio station.

“Rollin’ and Tumblin'” was made famous by Muddy Waters and has been previously covered by Bob Dylan, Cream, Bonnie Raitt and Eric Clapton. It is one of several covers on the album.

Due out September 21st, Big Bad Blues  is the follow up to Gibbons’  2015 release Perfectemundo. The new album was produced by Gibbons along with Joe Hardy (Alice Cooper, Depeche Mode).

A tour in support of the album is expected to be announced soon.

Gibbons and ZZ Top recently wrapped up their Blues and Bayous Tour along with co-headliner John Fogerty. Gibbons also appeared on Fogerty’s recently released single “The Holy Grail”.
