Billy Joel has released his first new single in decades. Titled “Turn The Lights Back On”, the track is available on digital and streaming platforms now here. You can watch the lyric video for the song in the video player below.
“I had no intention of writing, or singing, or recording in a studio ever again,” Joel said in an audio clip released by his longtime label, Columbia Records. “It was one of the first times I’ve heard by voice back… and I was convinced, maybe this could be a new single.”
Billy Joel will also perform at the GRAMMYS this weekend. The awards ceremony airs Sunday, February 5th at 8pm ET / 5pm PT on CBS.
