Brian Wilson is currently recording a new studio album that will featured Beach Boys bandmates Al Jardine and David Marks, as well as legendary guitarist Jeff Beck.
The album, which is is self-produced, is Wilson’s 11th solo effort and his first since 2008.
In 2012, The Beach Boys released a studio album, That’s Why God Made The Radio, in celebration of their 50th anniversary. Despite it’s success, and the success of their supporting tour, Mike Love, who owne the rights to The Beach Boys name, announced in the fall that he would continue touring under the group’s name without the three original members.
Despite a bleak future for the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson will do a 7-date solo tour this summer that will feature Jardine and Marks. Tour dates are below.
