The 2014 Brit Award nominees have been announced and David Bowie is up for two awards: Best British Male Artist and Mastercard British Album of the Year.
Bowie’s The Next Day was released in February of last year (March in the U.S.), to critical acclaim. It was his first album since 2003’s Reality.
Bowie’s Brit Awards nominations come 30 years after his last win for British Male Artist. In 1996, he also received the award for Outstanding Contribution.
