Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson said “I Do” this past Saturday, as she married her “soul mate,” Dean Wetter in a private ceremony for friends and family.

Wilson and Wetter, both 64, wed in Topanga, CA on Saturday in Wilson’s manager, Carol Peters’ backyard.

“Dean and I first met in the ’80s and went on a date where we both got smashed and I tried to seduce him,” explained Wilson in a statement. “Like the gentleman he is, he declined. Years passed, we got back in touch after we had both grown up, and Pow! – It worked!  Did it ever!”

Continued Wilson, “I love this man, I love his brain, I love his body, I love his spirit.  We are soul mates.”
