The Foo Fighters have a knack for surprising audiences with special guest appearances during their live shows, and Friday night in Phoenix was no exception.
During the band’s set at the Ak-Chin Pavilion, frontman Dave Grohl introduced 90s pop star Jewel, explaining that his original plan had been to “play some nice thing” for Jewel to sing on, but the 90s pop star requested they cover Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” instead. Check out the video below.
Last week, Fleetwood Mac‘s Stevie Nicks joined Grohl and band on stage to perform “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” the duet Nicks recorded with Tom Petty back in 1981.
The Foo Fighters are currently touring North America and will head to Europe in November.
