Neal Schon revealed via Journey‘s Facebook page this week that he will be releasing his new solo album, Vortex in May. The project is a double disc instrumental album featuring Jan Hammer, Steve Smith and Igor Len and the announcement was accompanied by a preview of the album artwork, which you can see here.
The album will reportedly feature 18 tracks and the physical copy will be accompanied by a 35-page booklet.
Schon’s previous solo record, SO U, was released in May 2014. Watch the video for “What You Want” here.
