Paul McCartney took home awards in two categories at Sunday night’s 56th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony. His song with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic & Pat Smear, “Cut Me Some Slack” was the winner of Best Rock Song, beating out The Rolling Stones (“Doom and Gloom”), Black Sabbath (“God Is Dead?”), Muse (“Panic Station”), and Gary Clark Jr. (“Ain’t Messin’ Around”).
McCartney’s Live Kisses was named Best Music Film.
Live Kisses also received a Grammy for Best Surround Sound, while McCartney’s deluxe edition re-issue of Wings Over America took home the Grammy for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package.
The ex-Beatle and his former bandmate Ringo Starr reunited on stage for a rare performance, playing McCartney’s song “Queenie Eye” from his latest album New.
