Phil Collins Extends Comeback Tour with More U.S. Shows

After a successful string of shows in the U.S. last year as part of his Not Dead Yet tour, Phil Collins has announced that he will return stateside for 15 additional shows this fall.

Dubbed Still Not Dead Yet Live!, the limited engagement will kick off September 23rd in Dallas, TX and make stops in Houston, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, New York City, Louisville, Omaha, Denver, Phoenix, and San Francisco before wrapping October 19th in Las Vegas, NV. 

Collins’ backing band will once again include longtime guitarist Daryl Stuermer, keyboardist Brad Cole, bassist Leland Sklar, percussionist Richie Garcia, and his son Nicolas on drums.  The lineup will also feature a 4-piece horn section and backing vocalists.

Tickets for all Still Not Dead Yet Live! dates will go on sale starting Friday, March 29th.

Collins’ Not Dead Yet tour was the former Genesis drummer’s first major run of solo shows since his cheekily titled First Final Farewell Tour in 2004-05. In 2011, he officially announced his retirement, stating that he wanted be “a full time father” to his two young sons. By 2015, he had decided to return to touring, telling Rolling Stone “I’m no longer officially retired. The horse is out of the stable and I’m raring to go.”
