Queen will be receiving the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Living Legend Award this November, more than 40 years after the release of their debut album. The event will be hosted by Chris Jericho on November 11th at The Roundhouse Theatre in London. Editor of Classic Rock Magazine Siam Llewellyn says he is enthusiastic to celebrate the band who “…changed the world’s soundscape forever.”
Past recipients of the Living Legend Award include ZZ Top, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop and Jimmy Page.
Public voting for other categories including Best New Band, Best Album and Reissue of the Year is open now through October 27th.
