Rod Stewart has just announced that Steve Winwood will be joining him on his highly anticipated Live the Life tour this spring. The two rock legends will launch the ten show North American tour in Chicago on April 10th and wrap things up in Toronto on May 1st.
Stewart confirmed the tour announcement on Live! With Kelly and Michael saying, “I’m thrilled to be touring with Steve Winwood. I’ve got the highest respect for him, he’s truly part of the rock and roll tapestry.”
Tickets go on sale this Saturday – December 8th.

Earlier this fall Stewart announced that he has nearly completed his first original rock studio album in nearly 20 years. The tentatively titled Love the Life You Live will feature 11 new songs by Stewart and should be released this coming spring. The singer has preceded the new rock album with his recently released Merry Christmas, Baby – his first holiday album and his 16th Billboard 200 Top 10 album. Stewart also became a New York Times bestselling author this fall with the release of his memoir ROD: The Autobiography.
