Springsteen’s ‘High Hopes’ Debuts at #1 in 10 Countries

220px-High_Hopes_album_Bruce_SpringsteenBruce Springsteen’s new album High Hopes doesn’t disappoint.  The release came in at #1 in the U.S. plus 9 other countries last week – the week of its debut.

This marks Springsteen’s historic 11th #1 debut on the Billboard 200 in the US, which is now the third-most #1s ever on the chart. It is his fourth consecutive chart-topping debut, following in the footsteps of Wrecking Ball (2012), Working on a Dream (2009), and Magic (2007).

High Hopes also reached #1 in 30 countries on the iTunes album charts.

On Sunday, The Boss kicks off a run of dates in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, followed by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 3rd.
