The Rolling Stones have confirmed heavy rumors that the will play Glastonbury this year. The UK festival takes place the final weekend of June at Worthy Farm in Somerset, and the Stones will perform on Saturday night.
Frontman Mick Jagger tweeted yesterday: “Can’t wait to play Glastonbury. I have my wellies and my yurt!”
Keith Richards said: “We all had such a ball last year, and the energy between the band is so good. We can’t wait to play Glastonbury, see you on a summer’s day in England!”
Mumford and Sons and the Arctic Monkeys are the other two headlining acts for this year’s event. Tickets for the festival have already sold out.
