ZZ Top has announced an extensive run of tour dates beginning in January 2015. The tour includes new shows and “remake” dates with more to be announced soon.
The tour will also feature the band’s longtime pal and guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck.
“We’d like to thank our friends, fans and followers for all the support through the recent interruption,” the band said in a statement. “We’re happy to say the engine is firing on all cylinders and we’re ready to doubleback again . . and then some.”
The band had to postpone dates last summer after bassist Dusty Hill fell and injured his hip on the band’s tour bus.
