Dee Snider and Criss Angel Release New Music Video for “We’re Not Gonna Take It” to Help Cure Pediatric Cancer

For the first time ever, superstar magician Criss Angel is joining forces with world-famous frontman Dee Snider of legendary band Twisted Sister, to release a music video featuring a new acoustic version of the 1984 smash hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” Directed by Angel, the video aims to raise awareness of pediatric cancer by promoting HELP, a one-night-only, star-studded event taking place on Monday, Sept. 12 at Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to support pediatric cancer research and treatment worldwide.

The video sends a powerful message to viewers as Snider belts out the iconic lyrics, while the mother of a young girl—who is a cancer survivor—allows her head to be shaved in solidarity with her daughter and in support of the fight all of these children must endure. The video also features heart-wrenching footage of Criss Angel’s son, Johnny Crisstopher, going through treatments after being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in 2015.

The new version of “We’re Not Gonna Take It” will appear on Snider’s vibrant new solo album WE ARE THE ONES. Produced by GRAMMY®, Emmy® and Oscar® winning songwriter Damon Ranger, the new album will be released Friday, Oct. 28 on Red River Records (distributed by BFD/RED).

n addition to Dee Snider, celebrities like Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Paul Stanley, The New York Knicks and more are contributing to the cause by donating priceless items and one-of-a-kind experiences to an exclusive auction at the event. With starting bids ranging from $35 to $75,000, interested buyers will have the option to bid openly or discreetly through both a live or silent auction.

For more information about any of the live or silent auction items and to make a bid, please visit http://bit.ly/2aXAvc1. The live auction will take place at the event from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Bidding for the silent auction will remain open to the public until 9 p.m. PST on Sept. 12.
Standing for “Heal Every Life Possible,” HELP will feature an impressive lineup of world-class entertainers, music legends, comedians and sports icons, combining some of the world’s most coveted performances with a medley of fun facts, thoughts and heartfelt stories. Tickets are now on sale starting at $100 and can be purchased at CrissAngelHELP.com. All proceeds will benefit pediatric cancer research and treatment, with the hope of one day finding a cure.
