Get the Led Out: How Led Zeppelin Became the Biggest Band in the World (November 2012, $29.95) is the definitive book for the die-hard fan of the ultimate rock band. With over 700 concerts and close to 300-million records sold, the most requested rock song of all time, and an induction into the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame, Led Zeppelin remains one of the greatest bands of all time.

Based on Carol Miller’s Get the Led Out radio show, which airs on 150 affiliates nationwide and is beloved by Zeppelin fans, this lush coffee-table book begins with a unique day-by-day timeline and provides a behind-the-scenes view, revealing quirky details, achievements, and adventures big and small. Twenty-seven rare, unguarded interviews feature the band members themselves, as well as other musicians and insiders who witnessed it all, including Jason Bonham, Chris Squire (Yes), Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Alice Cooper, and music industry legends Danny Goldberg and Ron Nevinson. The book ends with a comprehensive discography.

The book was released last month, just as Led Zeppelin was celebrated with a Kennedy Center Honor for lifetime achievement in the arts on December 1st at The State Department. Their much anticipated DVD of the 2007 London O2 concert called Celebration Day will also be released on November 19th following a world-wide screening on October 17th.

Get the Led Out is lavishly illustrated throughout with photographs, reproductions of memorabilia from a private Zeppelin collector, and 15 specially commissioned artworks by acclaimed album cover artist Ioannis. Fans will want to display this beautifully produced book on their coffee-table, by their music collection—or even at the front entrance of their home.
