John Fogerty Jams With Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players

John Fogerty joined Dave Grohl‘s Sound City Players on stage last night as part of an all-star jam session on Hollywood Boulevard.  The performance aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live and featured a rowdy rendition of the classic Creedence Clearwater Revival track “Fortunate Son” with Fogerty and Grohl trading vocals on the verses and singing harmony on the chorus.  Watch the video below:

The concert was the latest in a growing string of gigs by the group which grew from Grohl’s recent documentary, Sound City, about the famous Sound City recording studio in Los Angeles.

The Sound City Players will be performing at the SXSW music festival next Thursday (March 14th) and Grohl will be delivering the festival’s key note address earlier that same day.
