In his recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Keith Richards revealed that the first song he ever wrote was written with Mick Jagger while locked in a kitchen. The song that came out was The Rolling Stones hit ‘As Tears Go By’. Listen to Richards tell the story in the clip below.

His appearance on The Tonight Show was in support of his new book, Gus & Me – a children’s book based on his grandfather and his first guitar. Keith’s granddaughter, Theodora, provided the illustration for the book.
