L’Wren Scott, celebrated fashion designer and longtime girlfriend of Mick Jagger, was found dead in her New York apparent Monday morning.
The 47-year old, who had been dating the Rolling Stone for more than 10 years, was reportedly found by her assistant around 10am. Scott’s body was hanging from a scarf when discovered. She was pronounced dead when EMS arrived.
According to Hollywood Life, police do not suspect foul play, however a Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death with an autopsy.
A rep for Mick Jagger has said he is “shocked and devastated”. The frontman was in Perth, Australia with The Rolling Stones at the time of Scott’s death.
