Metallica has made the 2015 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records. The band is the first and only to ever tour all seven continents, a feat they achieved last year when they performed in Antarctica.
The performance took place in December 2014, inside a dome, with an audience of 120 people. Most were scientists and contest winners.
Other musical acts appearing in the 2015 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records include pop act One Direction, for being the first act to debut at #1 with its first three albums, Miley Cyrus, for being the most search-for pop star online, as well as records set by Shakira, Katy Perry an rapper Eminem.
