After cancelling his Japan tour as well as one date in South Korea, Paul McCartney seems to be on the road to recovery. But not before the ex-Beatle was hospitalized for the virus that forced him to cancel the Out There tour dates.
“Paul received successful medical treatment at a hospital in Tokyo. He’ll make a complete recovery and has been ordered to take a few days rest,” a statement on his website reads.
Despite being 71 years old, McCartney rarely cancels tour dates. He has maintained a busy schedule touring internationally for the last several years.
The cancelled shows will be re-scheduled at a later date. His Out There tour, which supports his most recent album, New, will pick up again June 14th in Lubbock, TX.
