Richie Sambora Fired Over Money Matters

Richie_Sambora_410_17928951_0_0_12885_300According to gossip website RumorFix.com, Richie Sambora has been fired from the current Bon Jovi tour and it’s all about money.

Although Sambora departed the group earlier this year, he cited a “personal matter,” and kept quiet on the details. But the guitarist, and 30-year band member, has reportedly been fired. According to RumorFix.com sources, Sambora was making $2 million a month on tour with Bon Jovi and taking in 20% of the profits. Guitar sub Philip “Phil X” Xenidis is earning far, far less – about $10,000 a month.

Sambora will still collect songwriting royalties and profits from merchandise, but is spending his time with family, if recent Twitter pictures are any indication, as well as promoting his recent solo album, Aftermath of the Lowdown.

If you haven’t heard Sambora’s solo effort, check it out below.
