Robert Plant Talks New Album, New Single

Robert Plant will release a new album on October 13, the form Led Zeppelin singer announced on his website this week.

Carry Fire is Plant’s 11th solo album and the follow up to 2014’s Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar, from Plant and his Sensational Space Shifters. The new album again features the Sensational Space Shifters as well as several musical guests. Chrissie Hynde appears on the album to perform a duet with Plant on “Bluebirds Over The Mountain”.

Plant also chatted with BBC’s 6 Music this week about the release and to announce a string of UK dates in support of the album. Hear the interview below.
