Lana Rae Meisner, wife of former Eagles bassist Randy Meisner, was shot dead in the couples’ home Sunday.
According to reports, Meisner made a 911 call after her husband threatened her with a BB gun. Approximately an hour and a half later, Randy made a 911 call to report that his wife had been shot dead.
CNN reports that the death is being treated as an accident and that the Los Angeles Police Department believe a rifle discharged accidentally while Lana was lifting it out of a closet.
